The new dining space, which features 7 restaurants that offer 11 food concepts, will operate seven days a week.

London-based food delivery provider, Deliveroo has recently introduced its new digital dining concept with the launch of the firm’s largest Deliveroo Editions site in Singapore. As per sources, the new dining space will be located at the at Alice@Mediapolis and will feature a 40-seat dining zone.

According to Business Insider, Siddharth Shanker, GM, Deliveroo Singapore, said that the location was intentionally chosen based on the insights received by Deliveroo’s research team to entice working people around the area. He said that the concept of Singapore’s Food Market was driven by the demand for dine-in that Deliveroo witnessed at its Lavender Editions site.

For the record, Deliveroo first introduced the Food Market concept in Hong Kong in 2018, with a smaller dine-in area. The company, besides the data-driven site location and food choices, is reportedly collaborating with San Francisco-based startup, Eatsa to launch the latter’s fully automated food ordering system in Singapore.

Pleased with the move, Danny Lee, Senior Program Manager, Eatsa, said that it is the first time the company is offering its food ordering system outside the U.S. He said that Eatsa offers hardware, software and ordering system in place for Deliveroo’s new Editions site and has worked with the latter’s team during the design and building of the location.

Mr. Lee said that consumers in Singapore actively adopt new technologies and are prepared for a digital ordering experience like Eatsa. He said that the adoption of mobile payments in Singapore is an added customer attraction.

As per reliable reports, Deliveroo’s latest site will have 7 restaurants that offer 11 food concepts at the outlet including Vietnamese noodle bar NamNam, Korean fried chicken brand Bonchon, Singapore’s Omakase Burger, The Flying Squirrel, Rasa Rasa and Blu Kouzina.

The Deliveroo Food Market will be open seven days a week, with lunchtime stretching from 11am to 2.30pm, while the dine-in space for dinner will last from 4.30pm to 9.30pm. Food delivery orders from the site will end at 10pm, the company added.
