The companies will help enterprises adopt innovative cloud-based systems securely for their business workloads

Infosys and Huawei Cloud have recently entered into a strategic cooperation aimed at helping enterprise customers quickly transition towards the digital cloud.

Under the deal, Infosys would be joining the Huawei Cloud Partner Network, or HCPN, with both the firms developing new cloud solutions, by using Infosys products and services and Huawei Cloud. The companies will help enterprises adopt innovative cloud-based systems securely for their business workloads.

Huawei Cloud Global Market President, Edward Deng commented that Infosys holds vast experience in next-gen digital services and consulting, which together with the cloud capabilities of Huawei will assist businesses in speeding up their digital transformation to benefit from competitive edge in their industries.

Deng mentioned that Huawei has over 30 years of experience in ICT infrastructure building as well as a considerable understanding of enterprise markets. He believes the company is capable of providing sustainable, secure and innovative cloud services to numerous industries, allowing their customers to migrate to the cloud and boost their businesses.

Deng added that through this partnership, Huawei will look to ensure optimization of operational costs, smooth delivery of projects, lower transformational risks and generate further business value for clients.

Infosys President Ravi Kumar stated that under this deal, the company would offer a suite of technologies, to be hosted on Huawei Cloud, including workload migration solutions like SAP, among others.

For the record, HCPN is partner program developed to help the partners succeed on the Huawei Cloud by offering valuable services as well as marketing, management and technical support. Huawei Cloud customers are also able to recognize top-quality HCPN partners that deliver value-added solutions and services on its Cloud.

Reportedly, the number of HCPN partners had surpassed 6,000 by the end of 2018, with 2,800 applications added by the cooperation of these partners that are now available in 40 availability zones across 23 territories worldwide, including Russia, South Africa, China and Asia Pacific.
