Nestlé Waters North America (NWNA) has announced its plans to expand ReadyRefresh® by Nestle® operations with the acquisition of Diamond Springs water and beverage delivery service throughout South and North Carolina. Reportedly, ReadyRefresh is a delivery service by Nestlé Waters North America which provides water and refreshing beverages directly to the homes of consumers and offices.
According to a press release by Nestlé Waters North America, the acquisition of Diamond Springs assets is expected to expand ReadyRefresh’s footprint in the Carolinas by setting up five branches, located in: Greenville in South Carolina, Charlotte in North Carolina, Raleigh in North Carolina, Charleston in South Carolina and the Triad region of North Carolina, which comprises Winston-Salem, Greensboro, and High Point. The deal was reportedly signed on March 4, 2019 and the transaction closed on March 22, 2019.
Henrik Jelert, Executive Vice President, ReadyRefresh, reportedly said that ReadyRefresh business has focused on aligning current operations to meet future needs and positioning the company for long-term success. Nestlé is entering Carolina’s market for the first time with the new deal, he further added.
Nestlé has plans to produce Pure Life® Purified Water and Deer Park® Brand Natural Spring Water Nestlé® locally in refillable containers of three and five gallon, after a transition period. Nestlé with ReadyRefresh delivery service, has plans to offer several products including three- and five-gallon bottles of Deer Park® Brand Natural Spring Water, five-gallon bottles of Nestlé® Pure Life® Purified Water, small single-serve bottles of Deer Park® Brand 100% Natural Spring Water, Nestlé® Pure Life® Purified Water, sparkling, and flavored waters.
For the record, NWNA is headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut and has workforce of around 8,000 associates in North America.
